KANYE West's legal rep has spoken out about Kanye's plans to run for office.

The attorney, Bruce Marks, clarified where Kanye, 46, stood for the 2024 election.

Kanye's lawyer made a clear statement about his client's plans, saying: "He’s not a candidate for office in 2024," to the Rolling Stone on Thursday.

However, an unnamed second source did hint that Kanye could have a change of heart, but suggested that due to the lack of campaign planning in place, it was unlikely.

The insider claimed: “There’s no plan to do that… there’s no campaign structure or anything along those lines in place.”

They concluded that the odds of Kanye restarting his run were ultimately “beyond remote.”

This comes as a complete turnaround to rumors from just a couple of months ago, which suggested that Kanye would definitely run for President again alongside his wife Bianca Censori, 28.

In August, an insider told The U.S. Sun: "He's 100 percent still running for president again.

"He's brought in Dov [Charney] to help run Yeezy, and has given Bianca a lot of responsibility so he can focus on his 2024 presidential campaign.

"Despite not being very successful last time, he's taken a break from being so public and he's in a much better place after his divorce from Kim was finalized."

BIG DREAMS

The insider continued to claim that Ye's now-ended campaign was more sophisticated than his last run.

In 2020, Kanye spent more than $12.4 million of his own money on his failed bid, according to financial reports.

The star went on to win just 60,000 votes.

In comparison, this year before his apparent change of mind: "Ye believes he's the next president because God sent him to be a vessel to bridge freedom, equality, healthy living, and economic growth to all generations.

"He believes with Christ at the center, focusing on farming, technology, and sustainable living is the only way to save mankind.

"Unlike his last campaign, this one is structured and will be well-executed in the upcoming months.

"Ye has sold more shoes than the popular vote in American elections.

"He believes he can reach the necessary voters to secure the 2024 election."

YE'S REVELATION

Prior to the news that Kanye would not be retrying his presidential run, the rapper suggested that he might be neurodivergent.

On Wednesday, a screenshot of Kanye's conversation with business mogul Elon Musk was posted on his longtime confidante and consultant Ian Connor's Instagram.

Kanye's message began: "When are we going to speak. You owe me nothing. You never have to speak to me again.

"But if we do speak, the nature of the relationship needs to change. I'm not bipolar, I have signs of autism from my car accident," he said in the text, referring to his October 2002 car accident, in which he fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed into another car.

Kanye's post continued with him directing his anger toward his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, 43: "You can't watch Kim keep my kids from me. And not say anything publicly and then call yourself my friend so I can bring my audience to your struggling platform."

The former couple share four children: North, 10; Saint, 7; Chicago, 5; and Psalm, 4.
