Brock Lesnar Reveals Why He Got His Giant Chest Tattoo
Brock Lesnar is without doubt one of the most well-known names in professional wrestling, with millions of fans around the world. He is also known for his tattoos, as they are a part of his branding. Brock Lesnar revealed the significance of his tattoos, and that chest tattoo means more than just fodder for phallic humor.
Although tattoos are widespread among today’s wrestlers, Brock Lesnar stands out in the crowded field of muscled flesh covered in tattoos. When looking directly at Lesnar, the sword tattoo that spans the area from just above his navel to just below his throat is the most noticeable.
Lesnar recalled that the tattoo was motivated by the non-compete provision in his WWE contract in 2005, which prevented him from competing in New Japan Pro-Wrestling after leaving Vince McMahon’s organization. In his 2011 autobiography “Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival,” Lesnar told all about why he got that sword on his chest.
“I felt like life was holding a sword right up against my throat, so I went under the ink gun because I never wanted to forget exactly how I felt at that time. The tattoo on my chest has so much meaning to me. In some ways, it’s funny, because the period of my life that I’m talking about is a time I so want to forget, but I know I can use this memory as motivation.”
Because of how intricate the design was, Jimmy DiResta, a New York City-based YouTuber who specialized in making fashionable weapons, was motivated to make a short video showing how he produced a sword that was just like Brock Lesnar’s breast tattoo.
“When I saw Brock’s tattoo, it jumped out at me. I had to make it.”
The Beast Incarnate revealed the symbolism behind this tattoo, and it seems that Brock places a significant amount of importance on his ink. Keep checking Ringside news for more developments.
